Global Alliance for Artificial Intelligence (GAFAI) Welcomes Mr. Stephan Heller to Board of Directors

July 10, 2025 - The Global Alliance for Artificial Intelligence (GAFAI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stephan Heller as a Board Member. A seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and strategic advisor, Mr. Heller brings a unique blend of operational excellence and global venture expertise to GAFAI at a pivotal time for ethical AI development and cross-border innovation.

Mr. Heller is an exited founder and active board director with a proven track record in scaling technology ventures, investment platforms, and public-private partnerships across Europe and the Gulf region. He currently holds several key roles:

• Senior Advisor at Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s leading tech ecosystem backed by Mubadala, where he supports cross-border venture strategy and capital deployment.
• Founding Partner at AlphaQ Venture Capital (AQVC), an innovative evergreen fund-of-funds focused on emerging VC managers and strategic secondary transactions.
• Chairman of HOC Holding, a private equity firm developing regional champions in health, fitness, wellness, and longevity.
• Founder of P14 Capital, a private advisory firm facilitating international expansion, FDI, and growth in deeptech, defense, and private equity sectors.

With over 25 startup investments and engagements in more than 22 venture capital funds, Mr. Heller combines strategic governance with operational depth, making him an ideal addition to GAFAI’s mission of building a secure, inclusive, and forward-looking AI ecosystem.
